Annesha Foundation(AF) is a Local, Non-Government, Non-Profitable but a Private Voluntary Development Organization (PVDO). ‘ANNESHA' means "to find out way to love the people through Development". It was established on 27 th May in 1989 with the initiative of some like minded Voluntary Social workers. Main Founder of the PVDO is Mr. Kamolindu Karmaker, a renowned Social worker, with a view to promote the Social-Economic status of the rural, under-privileged and oppressed people living in the society, where justice will be honored and every citizen will be able to get rigthful shares of the resources in the present world. This people will live peace and humanity . Legal Status:
AF is registered with Directorate of Social Services, thr Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, bearing Registration No-Bari-222/89, dated May 27,1989.
AF is registered with the Department of Family Planning, the Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, bearing the Registration No-M.I.S./508(6), dated August 29,1990.
AF is also registered with the Department of Foreign Donation(Voluntary Activities Regulation Rules-1978) from the NGO Affairs Bureau, bearing registration No-549, Dated October 23,1991.
AF is also registered with "Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh". Registration No. S-2412(05)/2000.
AIMS:
To promote the Socio-Economic & Cultural Status of the rural underprivileged people for ensuring Human Resource Development and boosting-up production, productivity and mobilizing local available resources like Man Power, Water and Soil.

To promote the socio-economic and cultural status of the disadvantaged people living in the rural society.
